2022 Telluride SX

24hrs. into a 2022 Telluride SX purchase and love it. Low beams at night on dark country road may take a bit to get used to as there is a line across the veiw.
How can I tell if the headlight bulbs are LED or OEM? Are the OEM bulbs LED? Haven't found in maunual where there is an answer one way or the other.

I presume since you are asking this question you bought the Telly used? Brand new the SX comes with LED bulbs. Only way to check if they are OEM LED or other LED is to pull them from the housing and look, would only take about 1 min 27 sec to do, from experience.

Thanks, Yes it was used with 8K miles, still has plastic on rear seats. These headlamps have that distinct line across viewing siteline that may take a bit to get used to. The brights are great. What is the difference in the low beams and SUB low beams? Can't tell if SUB low beams are on. Haven't owned a New car in 12 years.

Cannot help you much more, sorry. I own an S trim and had to upgrade my projectors to LED bulbs. I too have a distinctive line from the housing and I am quite the housings are designed that way to maximize brightness on the road directly in front but to minimize glare to oncoming traffic or those close in front of you that you are following. I have gotten used to it and appreciate the design after using it a little.

The SX LED's have had issues with "blinding" oncoming drivers, at least thats what oncoming cars indicate when they flash their high beams back at your low beams. I have a 2020 SX and got them adjusted so that line you distinctly see is generally below the oncoming drivers eyes. Especially where there is a dip. Since the adjustments, I don't get the angry flashes back nearly as much. I am thinking they addressed some of these issues with the 2022. The LED unit is integral to the entire headlight housing also there is no replacing these.
