2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

Finally received call from salesman at Fort Bend Kia. I originally put deposit in on 2/11/2022 for glacier white SX Prestige Nightfall with Dune Brown interior. Decided to go with X line Glacier White prestige with terracotta interior. Choices for interior were black, sage green or terracotta. Order being placed with Kia and salesman did not want to speculate when it arrives

I placed a order with the same dealership back on 12/07/21. Good Luck! Mines finally coming in by the end of the month or so Failcat says.

Auto Express Kia in Erie did not add "market adjustment" to my order....2023 S AWD option ROJ sunroof...ordered last week, supposed to be on dealer lot next month...............they don't negotiate price but go straight off MSRP

Yes - very interesting. According to the dealer guide X-Line mix should be about 32% and X-Pro about 13%. Failcat is showing a much bigger and opposite difference. Looks like their lack of X-Line building cost me having my order picked up during the last KFOS cycle this past weekend. I'm at the top of the list in the system for SX-Prestige X-Line and my dealer had no SX-Prestige X-Line orders picked up... bummer!

Right?! I thought our best shot was ordering an SX Prestige X-Line vs the regular SX-Prestige or SX-Prestige X-Pro looking at the build mix from the dealer guide. I guess we'll see.

This is encouraging as my sales rep told me they are only producing 7% XPro and I am over her trying to get my order in for an XPro. He did take an order from me X Pro Gravity Grey black interior

Does anyone know whether or not the grey/navy interior on the '23 Telluride might look similar to this Sorento Hybrid? (or if this is even an option on the Telluride? Thought I read somewhere that it might be, but could have just dreamed it up.....)

We added the sunroof option to our '23 Telluride S model order. The attached picture isn't from our window sticker, but I've noticed that any stickers (from failcat) that have the sunroof option added also say "LED Interior Lighting". Any info/insight to what that is?

It’s the inverse (navy/gray, not gray/navy). The dash and doors are navy on the Telluride, the rest is gray. Here’s an example.

The LED interior lighting comes bundled with the sunroof option. That would be instead of incandescent dome lights/map lights.

What does order placed mean, do you know? This makes me concerned because I too put in an order originally for 2022 Wolf Grey and Dune Brown SX-P NF - last week I changed to 2023 SX X-Line Glacier White and Terracotta. I put in my deposit on 02-08-22 so before yours and I was told I did not lose my place in line. Mine is now not Prestige, but not sure why that would make a difference queue wise.

upgrade from halogen/incandescent bulbs.....I added the same option

Does anyone have pictures of a 2023 with the rear entertainment system? I’m guessing they didn’t update from the 2022, but I am curious. I have seen some in Failcat that have it installed.

I hope you get it when they told you. I think there were some additional 23's allocated in early October. I'm in the same time frame as you are. I am an excited old man. LOL.

Yesterday I was informed that the order was switched to a 2023. This is fine, though they swapped out the interior color from Dune to Mahogany since Dune is phased out. Asked about when to expect and was told to plan on the "one year mark". Were originally told 6-9 months. Are people routinely waiting a full year from order at this point? Was feeling pretty patient here at the 6 month mark, but a year? Yikes.

Also was assured that we had not lost our place in line with the switch to 2023.

I think it depends on what number you are and how many are in front of you..

Sounds like they were saying the year mark from your original order - you should clarify with your dealer.

From what I've seen it looks mostly all gray with only the dash and door areas wehre it's black is now navy.

Sounds like they were saying the year mark from your original order - you should clarify with your dealer.

I placed my order at the same dealership at the end of December '21. When my order was transitioned over to a 2023 a little over a week ago, the guy told me that I'm pretty far up on the list (I would hope so after all of this time) and that I should get it fairly soon but was not willing to provide a timeline.

Some people have waited longer.

My first Telluride only took 3 months.
Its been 6 months waiting on my second one.
Hoping to have it by end of year...fingers crossed.
