• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I own a 2022 with 1200 miles on it. I’ve been noticing lifter clatter when I depress the accelerator pedal. Is this normal? I use Top Tier 87 octane gasoline. I also have a 2017 Sportage. There is no clatter coming from it. I’m thinking of filling up with premium gas on my next stop to see if it clears up the clatter. Is this something I should be concerned about or is this totally normal? Thanks for any help.

I have a 2020 and a 2022 neither has lifter noise when accelerating, nor any other time.

Have a 2022 TRide with 8000 miles I only hear a small amount of clatter at idle. I don't bellieve the higher octane fuel woulf affect your lifter noise
