If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Pictures (Official)

Perhaps because I am a relatively new Telluride fan and have not had older designs ingrained into my psyche, I like the 2023 design. We all have preferences and fads come and go. Currently the 'blacked out' look is popular in cars and motorcycles. A yellow vehicle was considered a 'lemon' in the70s and 80s and so they didn't exist. Now shades of grey are extremely popular as well a various neutral pastels.

There is a pseudo trend where certain design elements are associated with particular models like the iconc vertical grill gaps on Jeeps. With the advent of led lighting and modular designs, certain arrangements, shapes and designs get associated with certain brands. People seem to like this but at the same time it 'pigeon holes' designers and restricts design freedom and current trends. KIA has just moved on from the circular running lights. Maybe they will come back since a lot of people seem to like them. It is distinctive and make the Telly easy to spot.

So I guess I'm saying, things change. Change is sometimes hard to accept because we become comfortable and complacent with what we know. Then there is the money aspect. What sells and what does not. Money talks, BS walks. Poor US auto design standards were upended in the 60s by Japanees manufacturing. You can see were that has led us today.

I initially thought of the Telluride as 'boxy and plain' but it has grown on me. Considering I just dropped 50+k on one, I guess I really like the current design.
Well said. If anything this facelift has me excited for the first full redesign in the next 2-4 years, as I will be due for a new ride at about that timeframe and am so enjoying my '21 and what Kia is 'overall' doing with their lineup. To your point the KIA signature has become the tiger-nose grille, and I am here for it and hoping they can continue this solid trend they are on.

Love your ride, what a color that seems to be when the sun shines!

How would you say this blue is in terms of flat vs more metallic? I have yet to see one in person and Pictures are never 100% accurate

Hell yeah, well said. Everything progresses. I love the 20-22 look, but the more I see the new one, I love it as well. The body design still rocks, the changes for technology are great and ultimately, it will still sell like crazy. Enjoy that ride and don't be shy sharing more pictures.

Piggybacking on your guys' sentiments-- I agree. The lower front bumper is a bummer, but it doesn't detract from the other great improvements on the 2023. I've probably seen a dozen 23s at this point, in person, and they are still attractive vehicles. I've been trying to decide between a Palisade and Telluride for months, and let's just say I have an order for a Telluride and nothing for a Palisade. Seeing the news ones in person confirmed that this is the vehicle for me. If offered a 2022 or a 2023, I would still wait for the 2023.

saw my first midnight blue and I would say it leans more towards the darker side. My wife saw it and she thought it was almost navy, which is what I prefer. This was during the day

Well...its not flat...not in sense of a flat black or military camo. Its not a metal flake with all the sparkles and color changes. Its a traditional gloss finish. Its not a lighter sky blue nor do I think it qualifies as a darker Navy blue or American flag blue. Probably a sapphire blue or if you are Into color codes, maybe a RGB 15 82 186 or there bouts. I looked for an official Pantone description but haven't found one.

I do appreciate color codes. If it looks like the blue associated with that code, I’ll be happy with that color. Now to choice xline or no

Good description. In my mind, I keep describing it as a shiny piece of candy- a gumball, if you want. It's glossy but not really metallic, as in contains speckly bits. From afar, it has the same effect as wolf gray, in that it's shiny and beautiful.

Anyone have photos of a SXP X-line in Glacial White with Terracotta interior? Placing an order without seeing one in person is proving to be challenging...

Due to the fact that there have only been 5 made with that configuration (according to failcat) and those probably haven't hit dealers yet, that may be a tough picture to find. You may do better seeing it as an X-Pro SXP and imagine 20" wheels, there have been 36 of those built or are being built.

5 made?!? I assumed it would be a relatively popular color combination. I watched the Raitis Ride video and really liked the white X-Pro. Just wanted to ensure I didn't like it more than the X-Line. I appreciate the heads up! Would have been searching for a photo for a while LOL.

I am getting the Dawning Red version of the same X-Line SXP with Terracotta, but there are only 4 of those shown on Failcat. I keep wondering if i have picked a dud color combo or KIA is struggling with that configuration. According to the Dealer Guide Build Mix, the X-Line SXP configuration was going to be the configuration they built the most. So far, that is not the case.

I'll keep my eyes peeled and follow up if I find one before you do. Cheers!

SXP black, Grey nappa leather, $5k markup. Not impressed to be honest since is the first 23 I see in person especially since they had a 22 dark moss nightfall nearby.
