2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

Here she is! 2023 S AWD — chrome delete and wheels done by Wrap Kreations in Carrollton (highly recommend working with them). Bought from Huffines McKinney for MSRP + $999 for tint.

I need help, should I add black “Telluride” lettering on the back, front, or both?

Originally ordered in June, ended up canceling the order because someone backed out on this one last week.

This is easily a 9.75/10 on execution. Just needed the blacked out roof rails done, but overall this is fantastic!

You can buy the old-font Telluride lettering for both the front and back in either gloss or matte finishes via ebay, just a simple search and you'll find a dozen or more options for your precise desires. Personally I like the old font from '20-'22 and also having the TELLURIDE up on the hood and the rear, just my 2 cents though! Post again if you updates with the blacked out prints!

As an aside- I think this is how the X-Line and X-Pro trims should have looked coming from the factory.

I have been thinking about the lettering on the front and would imagine cleaning bugs out of that would be a pain. Absolutely love the blacked out chrome and silver and agree with the X-Line/X-Pro comment.

Looks great! Is that a matte or glass wrap? Do you mind taking a picture head on and from directly behind? I am trying to compare to another wrapped Telluride if I want matter or gloss. Looks great.

I see it's a gloss. Is the bumper the same wrap as the grill? If you have time, a head on and directly behind picture would be greatly appreciated as I am getting GWP as well.

With a black wrap (glass or matte), I actually like the 2023 better than the 2022 NF. I actually love the look of the new headlights and slight changed grill. Sucks we have to wrap a brand new car, but it is what it is.

Does anyone with a 2023 know the dimensions of the bottom bumper (gray part) and the grill? I am curious what size wrap I need to purchase. I cannot find the dimensions anywhere online.

Totally agree. Had to do the same with a brand new truck this year. Got the highest trim level for the features but that came with chrome-everything on the outside. Lower trim levels had a black-out option. Had to get it wrapped and will probably do the same with the Telluride unless my wife likes the X-Line as it is.

That is the new lettering. You can tell because it is thinner. I am not sure why they didn't black out the front logo especially when they did the back.

Ah ok. Cosmo-Kramer with the white one said that they couldn't wrap the new letters so I thought you'd need to replace the lettering. I wouldn't want to do that.

Look at the U, you can tell it is a lot thinner than previous model years. It honestly looks miserable to cut out lol. Plastidip would so much easier, but I have seen that flake off a lot.

The E and the R are probably the most noticeable differences.

They said they couldn’t wrap them so they suggested I just buy new black ones.

If anyone has suggestions on making the OEM ones black then re-applying, I’d appreciate it.

Someone on the Facebook group wrapped the new letter themselves. I think the shop was just being lazy.

Anyone know when the tow hitches are due to be available for install at dealerships? We went to vinyl wrap the numbers but my understanding is that the tow hitch install actually involves modifying the rear number so that it sits up higher, so we don’t want to do anything until that is installed.

Thanks! True, since you would have had to upgrade to at least an EX X-Line and still would have had to do the wrap

Picked up my 23 S AWD in dawning red. I HATED the wheels in pictures but i don’t mind them in person.
Excited to be an official member now.
