• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... new to KIA (almost we haven't ordered yet) but plan to turn over our '14 Santa Fe for a '23 Telluride (and order the Telluride from out of state)
love our Santa Fe but its getting older and we wanted a 3 row and are impressed with the Telluride compared to the look of the Palisade. (plus the reviews)
Some questions
- any feedback on purchasing out of state - do's and don'ts ? local PA dealers want $2500 to $7500 over msrp - we can drive 3 to 5 hours and just pay MSRP but wanted to see if anyone has any feedback on what to watch for? a local dealer said to watch for bait and switch after they get your deposit money but i take that with a grain of salt.
- do most people buy vs lease - we were going to buy just because we will prob keep for 7 or 8 years but was curious as to what most on here are doing
- color combinations - we were thinking black ext/black int but are rethinking it may be too dark - possibly go with gray interior but i wanted to get opinions. trying to decide between silver and black (black is $500 extra tho)
thanks!

You will get a lot of opinions on this forum about the color combo. Everyone will think they have the best one. I have a grey interior S trim and Dark Moss exterior and love it. My decision factors: I love the outdoors so getting an interior color that provided me a lighter-colored headliner was important. Grey interior SynTex was my only option for the 2021MY and I have enjoyed the seat color and definitely having a lighter headliner (makes the cabin less congested, more airy). Exterior colors were very bleak from '20-'22, nothing loud or exciting and that is how I prefer my vehicle exteriors (in large part for safety reasons... bright color, more noticeable, less likely to get overlooked and into an accident). Now Kia at least offers a somewhat brighter Dawning Red. Sounds like you're not so much into the loud exterior vibe so... idk maybe your combo is black with grey interior. You might check out Gravity Grey too. I'm no silver-car enthusiast but that is a good looking color on the Telluride. Best of luck and keep us posted on your journey.

we actually have pivoted over the last day to Gravity Grey - our first choice would be an SX in Gravity Grey w black interior.

just ordered a 23 SX AWD gravity gray with gray interior - we are told could be as soon as 4 weeks - ordered out of state but not too far of a drive but no dealer markup (outside of doc fees)
