Car ordered 11/19 and they just called saying they have one that a buyer backed out of!!! Yay for me.

I ordered the 23 EX Xline in Black on 11/19 with Kia in Longmont, CO. I am in So Cal and refused to pay over MSRP. Nicole just called and told me they have one available that the previous buyer changed their mind (or maybe wanted a different trim??) I will be picking it up on Friday. Purchased my $29 flight from Frontier to fly in Thursday night (yes it's a bargain airline but it's a 2 hour direct flight). They will pick me up from the hotel and drive me to the dealership in the morning. Hopefully be on the road by noon. Praying that we don't get any snow Thursday night, otherwise we need to change the route back home.

Question: Can I do the new car paperwork at AAA? Or does it need to be an actual DMV? Thanks

I guess it depends on how you are purchasing the car, if you are financing I believe they can do all the sales tax paperwork for you. You then would need to go to the DMV once you get your paperwork and such so you can register the car. (You will get a temp plate good for 90 days I believe). We ended up purchasing outright (we are in AZ) so once we got the paperwork in the mail I went and registered and paid AZ sales tax and registration. Not sure if that helps or not.
