Timing for dealer notification order has been places to VIN showing in failcat

Hey all, I've tried searching around for this, but I was notified by my dealer that my order had been picked up by KIA. Its supposed to be going in for paint on 1/30/2022. Salesman said that my estimated delivery was way further out than they normally see, so he's hopeful it will be in before the estimated March.

I was just wondering if anyone had an approximate timeframe for when it will show up in Failcat. I'm flying out to Denver to pick it up and would like to be able to give work a heads up on about when I may be out for a few days.

The VIN gets created as it goes into paint. That's when failcat (not always) picks it up. Sometime around the date that you were given.

When were you notified that it was picked up by Kia? Mine got picked up earlier in Dec; just wondering also when to expect it in Failcat.

Salesman sent me an email on the 19th of December outlining dates for all of the production steps and delivery. When all is said and done it's looking like 3 months from dealer knowing order was picked up to delivery. My timeline is showing about a month for delivery. Hoping it will be shorter than that because that would mean the vehicle is going to sit in Georgia for 3 weeks waiting on transpo.
