2020 infotainment screen freezes and does not recognize touch pretty often. Also, Waze running through my USB wired iPhone usually lags way behind my actual location, which makes navigating with Waze inaccurate and dangerous.

Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. - Try pressing the reset button by the volume knob first.
- If that does not work, try resetting the head unit to default settings.
- If th that does not work, try updating to the latest software version.
- If none of that helps with screen freezing, may need to take it to the dealer. Electronics are only warranted for 3 years I think though, so may need to pay out of pocket for repairs for a 2020.
In regards to Waze being slow, this has been a reported issue by multiple owners. Since it seems to only affect Waze and not other navigation apps like Google Maps or Apple Maps, it is likely an issue between Carplay interface and Waze, or a combo of Uvo software/Waze/Carplay.
Telluride and Waze issue
Has anyone else had trouble using Waze and CarPlay in a 2022 Telluride? It seems to be running “behind” where I actually am on the road. Only had the car for a month but it has not worked properly. Thanks.
