• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I noticed what I beleive is a slight imperfection in my headlight projection, I tried to take a picture of it, but it's not easy to see. I don't know if its intended or an imperfection in the lens or a small piece of debris inside the headlight casing? (I looked and didn't see anything) I'll try to get a better picture of it... in the picture I posted, you can see the reduced projection on the snowbank I circled...

The best way to describe it is if there's a piece of string in front of the headlight that the beam projects into crreating a dark line shape in the projection. I also thought it could be a piece of trim that obstructs the projection a bit so its intentional?

Do others have/see the same thing?

I just went out to my garage to get a better look and I noticed this mark on the lens itself (iside the headlight casing)

I wonder if this is causing the issue?

Its hard to tell from the picture but you might be seeing the projector cutoff overlap. Its easier to see if you park in front of a garage door.
The two beams overlap in the middle, and there is a dimmer area there. I found some pics online of other beams that do that.

I think you’re correct, I took a picture tonight in front of my garage door and the dark areas are in the same spot on both headlight beam projections (they almost look like fangs close up)
