The 2023 Telluride I bought for my wife was set up for her at the dealership, including having her name as the saved phone.

I paired my phone today while she was not around. It saved my phone as “iPhone 7” or later as “iPhone 9”. I’ve searched and I can’t find how to change my phone to my name. Can my phone be named something other than “iPhone #”?

Also, can I change the user name to something other than “guest”?

The car takes the name of your phone. You need to go to settings, general, about and change the phone name in your iPhone.

Super! I had no idea my phone was named “iPhone 9”, but it was! It’s now my iPhone and shows it as so on the screen. Thanks, Clow!!!
