• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just bought a 2023 Telluride and was wondering if it is possible to disable the heated seats for the rear captain seats. I have a 2 and 4 year old that are still in car seats but they are able to reach the heated seat buttons. Is there a way to lock those out similar to child locks for windows and doors? Thanks in advance!

There is no lockout. You could remove the respective fuses from the fuse box under the hood, but do note that it would also disable the actuation that pops the seat forward for access to the third row.

There is one for the left hand side and one for the right hand side. Here’s one of their descriptions:

RR SEAT (LH)
25 A
2ND Air Ventilation Seat Control Module LH, 2ND Seat Warmer Control, Module LH, 2ND Seat LH Reclining Folding Actuator

There is a connection for the seat heater unit under the seat, you can probably unplug it. I am not sure if it will cause an error code, see attached.
