Any update on ours? Had to start talking with a manager at my dealership (my salesman has had very subpar communication) and he had no idea any of the cars there were impacted Really wishing I had found this forum before purchasing and bought from y’all! (I’m in dfw as well)

Oh yes it 100% is unfortunately. All the affected cars from the storm now have 12/31 stamps until fixed then they will update with actual ETA's.

Latest twist. Time to share intel with each other.

The dealership called today with a “Hail Events Credit” offer from Kia US: $2,000 off and 2 years of free maintenance. We must sign disclosure forms when taking delivery.

Has anyone else received a similar offer?

“Extensive molding damage”. That part especially worries me. Not sure I’m going to accept our vehicle if this is what they give us too

ETA showing 05-15 as of today... It can show much sooner as you are up the road from the factory. The day it ships out will be the day it arrives at the store. So, I would think it would be sooner than this date.

HAIL DAMAGE

Learned today that our not-yet-arrived Telluride was a casualty of the MAR hailstorm. We are offered a $2K discount and complimentary service for 2 years. KIA will "do what is needed to put the car in new condition". It's a generous offer, but my concern is if windows were broken, what kind...

Thanks for sharing! That’s good to see! The disclosure document seems to say that as the buyer we can get all information we need before signing. Surely KIA has a detailed damage report for each car that went to their insurance. I’d want to see something like that for my car before pulling the trigger but your pictures definitely put me more at ease. The language in the legal document will always be strong / exaggerated to avoid any ground for legal challenge. (Or so I hope )
