If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Tossing around the idea on installing an LED light bar but I'm sure where.

I thought about a cargo basket with them that way if I wanted to I could just unplug it and disconnect the cargo basket.
I am definitely not going to drill any holes! But I want this to look nice and not cheesy not looking to light up the whole world whole but feel it will be a good addition to the vehicle .
I've looked on here but it is very limited .

I think my concern with loading it behind the grill is if I'm correct that is where the air intake is for the engine ?
So if there ever becomes a need to clean the light bar the ability ity to do that would be extremely hard 🤔
That is a very tidy location .

I imagine the only debris that should be making its way behind the grille is mud/rain/snow. If you had anything else that is not possible to remove with a pressure washer, you would be equally concerned having to remove the grille to clean the radiator.

Thanks for sharing this! Great to know it can fit on the cross bars and still allow cargo box to clear it. I may just have to copy you.

Can you share a photo of the road ahead with it on/off, so we can see how much it lights up things?

Are these the right parts?

Rhino Rack Vortex Bracket Kit (not Pioneer?) https://a.co/d/8hygGmZ

Auxbeam 32 Inch Led Light Bar (you got 100 or 270Watt?) https://a.co/d/5qFrH9f

yep that's the right part. i've got no picture of it on the road in action unfortunately.

some things to note:

1. for the rhino rack -- that small rectangular plate that would have to be inserted inside the crossbar will not fit -- you have to grind it a little bit to reduce width or buy screw with big head from home depot (i did the latter).

2. yes there is wind noise with only the light bar + cross bar

3. there is much more wind noise with the cargo box + light bar + cross bar

4. i moved my cross bar to the rear as much as possible with only 1 inch clearance when opening the trunk full height open -- did this to reduce me -- hearing wind noise.

5. some lights will be blocked (up - by the cargo box + down - by the edge of your front roof), but i am very content with the amount of light it added to the stock head lights that you will think its dumb the headlight is totally useless once you've started using it.

6. having the light bar positioned to the rear, i am happy that it does not shine light on my hood as its being blocked by the front portion of the roof

7. as this is not a permanent, i used scotch extreme mounting tape to secure wire on the edge of my windshield (i bought kc hilite wire hider but didn't see the need for it so i returned it)

Can I see pictures of close up of the wire running down?
