• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello Maybe someone can help or give me ideas. Brand new 2023 telluride with 60 miles. every time it rains the right side of the car loses the night time running lights and the right side of the lights on the license plate goes out. When it stops raining and everything dries up the ligths com back on. The indicator and brake lights always work. Its just the night time lights that goes out.

Took it in for service and they cant figure it out.. They changed the wiring harness for the car and the lighting control module also. SAME PROBELM. Of course, i mostly notice at night when its raining. What could possibly be causing the short. I dont want to Lemon Law it.

You've got a brand new car with a light error and you're ready to go the lemon law route 🫡

If one dealer's service is unsatisfactory, you go to another. Sounds to me like a bucket of water poured over the tailight should be able to recreate the problem.

Why don’t you take it in when it RAINS?

LOL ...i drove the car for 8 hours and took it right back to them. After two months of them with the car and me just waiting, they told me it was fixed twice. Funny enough both times ive tried to pick up the car at the dealer the light went out in front of them.

Finally, they just gave it back to me, the specialist from the KIA gods came down and had them remove the rear spoiler. Apparently when the factory installed the cables that goes to the rear wing taillight spoiler, the screw punctured the cables and causes a short. The tech knew the issue right away. Only three cars in the US have experienced this issue.

Now on to the next issue, seems like the tech did not install the roof ac correctly when they fixed the issue above cause the ac air only blows on half of the roof vents.
