What did you do to your Telluride today?

Added some Telluride screens from Kia Telluride (Kia Telluride)
These are the black welded. took a bit to install to have a clean look and only have the middle and two lowers.
Yeah, I don’t know how the upper grill one would look, but it can’t be good. I’ll take my chances with the rocks and debris over something covering part of the main grill. I think what you did was smart and probably isn’t noticeable.

I have all four pieces. All four go inside the grill and no one even knows they are there unless they are looking.

Black on black and behind the grill - not one in a million people will ever spot it.

I have the same set as Deb.

Oh, okay. I see. One of the pics had me thinking it would jut out or at least partially be exposed. With that not being the case, this does sound like a solid purchase to protect your beautiful investment, haha.

I keep trying to attach a picture, but it won't. But the picture in my profile is with all four screens installed.

Did an LED conversion to license plate bulbs and reverse tail lights... not too hard, not expensive but makes a big difference visually (to me)

Also, the image makes them look blue but they are just bright white with a slight tint of blue in person.

How should I know which design to choose from (totally objective?).....black welded or woven stainless steel mesh patterns, as well as the black powder-coated expanded metal mesh. My Car is a 2024 SX White.. I plan to put them behind the openings and grill as they are not as noticeable.. Does the material really matter at all? I also prefer to give it to my reliable body shop and give him a few bucks to place it discreetly behind the bumper. Why attatch this screen in front of our $55-$60 ride? One more question... Should installing these screens affect out factory warranties in any way? Manufacturers are always looking for loopholes. I can't see how with all the claims on a/c condensors from road debris this should be an issue... but I'm trying to cover all the bases.

It really does not matter which stainless steel option you get. Either is sufficient. The difference is mesh size. Do not overthink it. The expanded metal is not an option for your 24.

It is super simple to do yourself if you want. For your 24, the screens go behind the grill, not in front. Again, super easy to do yourself. No need to pay someone else unless you really want to.

I don't know of any reason why the screens would void any warranty. They are easily removed if needed before taking to a dealer. Reinstall when desired.

Today was a busy day for ‘ol Bpille. I added the 2020-2022 nightfall edition Telluride lettering to the front hood:

I am so ecstatic about how it turned out that I just had to tell someone and my wife wasn’t really that into it, so here I am, telluride forum! I’m getting the windows tinted with a ceramic tint on all doors and back windshield on Tuesday. I’m going to match them all up to 30%. After that, I’d really like to wrap the roof and back columns for a two tone look, but I think that is just a pipe dream.

It looks great very nice.

I have dealer installed tint at the moment so I'll leave that on until I get bored of it and go for darker.

As for the night fall stuff, now you just need the front kia emblem matte black!

Yessir. Got a VIP KIA overlay on the way. That should just about have it all covered, unless anyone has some more ideas?

Man that looks terrific! I did the same on my jungle green although while originally did overlays, I have single swapped out the all black letters which looks way better imo. However what I was about to say is my Telly is at the shop right now getting that two tone look. I'll post pictures when I pick her up Monday evening. As for additional ideas, I added ppf to the front end and under the door handles to protect from scrapes, scratches and rocks. Also added the matte screen protector to the Infotainment center (seriously recommend). Also have the illuminated door sill plates from a 2022 model to install next week as well. Plenty of options on the vehicles.

That’s awesome. I can’t wait to see the two tone look. I need to get the infotainment screen protector as my screen is already smudged to high hell, haha. I’ve also thought about doing some front PPF work, but I’m on the fence about it due to the fact that it costs a decent amount of money but you get no visual benefit or pleasure from it, but I know at the end of the day, you are protecting key areas for down the road. That is why I can’t pull the trigger just yet. If you don’t mind me asking, how much was did it run you to get your PPF done?

A bit of advice on this - they come in glossy and non-glare. I bought the glossy. While some people on the forum (who also bought the glossy) like it - I immediately hated it as it greatly increased the reflection over the infotainment screen. If you don't like reflection, buy the non-glare.

Hmm… I think I would prefer non-glare here as well, but does it dull the screen a lot? I’d like whatever keeps the screen as close to its original brightness and color as possible.

The non-glare protector will be MUCH closer to the original from the pictures I have seen and if you still want a screen protector, it is the one I recommend. However, after I removed the glossy one, I decided to stay without a screen protector and just use what I was doing on my Sorento (before I bought the '24 Telly) - and that is I keep a small misting spray bottle full of screen cleaner in my center console along with a nice large microfiber cloth. Then about every two weeks I get rid of all the fingerprints as well a general cleaning of not only the screen but also all the piano black in the car. This works for me.
