• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a love/hate relationship with my wife's 23. The three things that bother me the most -
1) The feature that reads the speed limit signs. In my neck of the woods there is a speed limit sign followed closely by a truck speed limit sign. It will read the truck speed limit and the stupid red letters on the dash/HUD tell me I'm speeding even though I am really not. Yes, I know that I can set it up to 10 over. The worst part is that if I turn it off, I don't get the speed limit from the NAV system in the HUD like my 20 & 22.
2) The inability to swap the Speedo and the Tach. All of the older Telly's have the Speedo on the right. Digitally, they moved it to the left. Should be a simple fix.
3) The way they changed setting the Cruise Control over the previous years.

Likes-
1) the ability to turn on the LFA without cruise control.

You have always been able to use LKA (lane keeping assist) on its own outside of cruise control. That’s the feature that will beep at you when you leave your lane and will try to bounce you back in.

LFA (lane following assist) is what’s now able to be used independent of cruise on post-refresh cars. This is the feature that will actively steer for you and attempt to keep you centered in your lane.

You are correct. I'll edit it

The feature that reads the speed limit signs is your NAV system. It is not perfect, but it's the only thing that will interact with your HUD. I have no idea about this issue you have with "truck speed limit", but it certainly (IMO) is THE MOST minor of inconveniences. Why this causes you to hate the Telly is beyond me. I think you need to spend some time in all of the other SUVs that are Telluride competitors. Believe me, no car is perfect.

You really think I hate Tellys? I own 3!. I friggin know what I am talking about. The truck speed limit is 10 less than cars. Do you enjoy the red highlighted speed limit icon in your dash or HUD when you are going 1 over? I don't. When I turn the feature off, the NAV system still displays the speed limit that is stored in the data, on the map, just not in the HUD anymore. That's what I'm bitching about - the data (that is still available) that used to be displayed in the HUD is now gone when the nanny "speed limit reader" is disabled.

I think the OP is referring to the ISLA, not the NAV specifically. The Intelligent Speed Limit Assist function that uses the front facing camera to read speed signs, whereas the NAV uses onboard map speed data. They both technically report to the same area of the HUD, but ISLA overrides NAV. To be fair, the manual does state a limitation is when signs are placed close together, but I get it... You're not allowed to have one without the other...

Your words - then you went on at length to describe the 3 things you didn't like and only one line about what you did like.
