If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2020 Telluride AWD rear end jerking thumping and vibrating

There's really not a lot you can do about it except to let the engineers figure out what is causing it and come up with a fix.

I am hopefully getting an invite to meet the KIA corporate guys next month from a survey I took. I will hit them up on this issue for your guys. If everyone could please state the build date if possible it may help leading to finding just certain ones made at a certain time that have this problem. Anyway I will do my best to ask the questions if I get invited. I know there is a few here that has posted build dates and I will try and read back and get those but any help on dates will help

Thanks, ucinn. My concern is how to know that Kia will work on a fix in a timely fashion. My service guys had been in touch with Kia about the problem but cannot get information themselves about if Kia is working on a fix. Some communication from Kia would be very important.

Mine (with the problem) is 5/20/19.

Their strong point is definitely not communication..but they have always fixed problems pretty quickly, just look at the bluetooth connection problem. Some are easier to fix than others. give them a little time.

Anybody feel a oscillating vibration at around 70mph?
SX AWD
I am definitely having the issue. I first thought it was probably flat spots in the tires but after thinking about it recognized that it was built on May 19 and I purchased on June 7. That should not have been a problem. My tire meter says that I have 37 psi and all four tires. I’m beginning to think there’s another issue but there is a consistent vibration on any of the modes and almost at I am definitely having the issue. Mine is SX AWD.
Welcome, brg921, sorry to see that you have a vibration problem. Most of us who report the problem see it between about 65mph to 74mph. Not above and not below. It sounds like you have the problem at all speeds up to about 65 and not above - do I understand that correctly?

Yes! I actually notice it more when I first start to accelerate

I feel a vibration when accelerating also. But once my MPH increases, I don't feel it. My tire pressure was reading 38 psi so I lowered all 4 tires to 35 psi last night. Need to do some driving to see if it helps.

I have a Telluride S AWD with tow package

I have an SX-P as well. I have isolated the location of the vibration to be just in front of the second row lights and just behind the front sunroof. If I push on my headliner at that position, the sound disappears. Also, it does seem to happen between 65 and 75. This wasn't happening that I could tell for the first few days of ownership. I received the vehicle on 7/25 and noticed the issue this morning, 7/30.

WOW my guess is there will be a traffic jam on the highway with several of us giving this a try!

Luckily, it's easy to reach without turning your head while driving. It was making me crazy on the way in to work. Definitely use smart cruise control to help you stay safe.

Just got back from a test run... your fix did not help my vibration. I could feel vibration in the area you described, but pressing on it did nothing to calm or quiet my vibration. Good to try, though.

Has anybody gone to an independent tire shop to have the tires checked. This could be a bad batch of tires

I was thinking bad batch of tires too....or possibly even wheels. I wish I had access to a full set of wheels/tires from an S or EX trim and swap them to see if that alleviates the problem. If it doesn't, that would rule out wheels and tires.

Some say its from the tires, some say its from the headliner... so which one is it? Or is it two separate vibrations we are talking about here?

Try coasting down from 80mph to 60mph. If the vibration frequency drops with speed, it may be drivetrain-related (including tires). If it only changes in volume, it's from something else (wind?).
