• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just bought a luxury level 2024 Telluride. There is a wire to the right of the rear view mirror not connected. Salesman said not yo worry bring it to service and they will hook it up. I. Fought it to service and after 4 service guys scratched their heads snd read manuals they said it was nothing that the rear view mirror camera works and so therefore tucked it back and not hooked up.

This can’t be right and I feel like I am not getting some features I paid for.

Does your mirror toggle between mirror and rear-view camera?
Does the Settings button on the mirror allow you to adjust the view angle up/down?
Is there something in the owner's manual that your mirror won't do?

I agree it seems strange.

They now tell me it’s for a future dash cam if I want to purchase one. I guess I can look into that in the future but why not just make it stick at this price?
