• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'm going to install the iDatalink HCX module which allows to start the vehicle from a 2-way remote or phone app (using a 3rd party telematics module). Unfortunately, Kia Connect (Kia UVO) isn't working in my region so I have to find another way to remotely start the vehicle because I leave it about 300 meters away from my house and I can't use the factory remote start feature. I'll let know how it went soon if anybody is interested.

Did you install this yet? I'm not a fan of Kia connect and would love a do-it-yourself kit.

Yup this is a good one. I installed this myself. One thing about this Kit is the Takeover Wires, They were a little short but worked depending where you but the control box. Other than that a piece of cake. See Mega thread below:

I posted my install in there after I was done

Yes, I did, and honestly I made a photo report which I wanted to share with everyone, however I couldn’t figure out how to upload it without posting so many pictures in the thread. Maybe I should go with a PDF format…
