• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello!
Our new Kia Telluride is acting up. After getting in the car & locking the doors using the interior door button, the car immediately unlocks itself. It does this even when all doors are closed & does it when the car is off as well as when it is on. It does this if the doors are locked immediately after closing the doors as well as if we wait a minute. Why is it doing this?

Have you checked the door lock/unlock settings in the infotainment screen? Specifically check for two settings:

Auto unlock vehicle off

When this feature is set in the infotainment system screen, all the doors will be unlocked automatically when the vehicle is turned off.

Auto unlock on shift to P

When this feature is set in the infotainment system screen, all the doors will be locked automatically when the vehicle is shifted out of P (Park) while the vehicle is running.

Hope this helps!
