My Telluride just update itself and I lost my presets and it also changed my km to miles. I was driving at the time. Getting disappointed with this car. Waiting to get a new timing chain and having transmission hiccups. Up until a month ago I loved this vehicle. The issues I mentioned are all known to Kia.
So far, the preset radio stations deletion is my only issue; I will say, it would appear, the company isn't handling recalls well, at all. I had an appointment with the dealer Monday, to address the parking brake issue and the "wheel sensor" issue (I was told by the tech writer, those two are the same issue), however, again according to the tech writer, they wouldn't address the seat fire hazard issue until I get an official recall notice, as my unit may not be affected. Hmm...I didn't think to ask, why can't you pull up my
VIN number and check while I'm here, rather than require me to waste another morning sitting at your dealership, twiddling my thumbs.
Yes, all issues are known!!
My more pressing issue is as follows: each month, I pay a significant amount toward my principal balance, and will be pay my call off early with the next 2 years. Each month, I go online, make my payment, however, I'm unable to designate where I want those extra dollars to go while I'm online. Each month, I must call the company, one day post payment, wait on hold to speak with a CSR, and request they move said dollars to the appropriate box. I'm told, they're working on a solution. Again, hmm...as I've made my 10th payment, and I know for a fact, having worked in and with IT departments, it doesn't take 10 months to revise a website, in any universe. It's my belief the company thinks I'll give up, make the minimum payments so they can keep the loan active longer, thereby making hundreds of thousands off just little ole me.
I will admit, I'm not happy with the company on more of a corporate level; then again, I've known for 30 years, there is MUCH WRONG with Corporate America - much more than there is space here to cover. Sadly, we're in trouble in this country in every segment of society, including medicine and religion.
I pray this is my last vehicle purchase. I'd rather be tarred and feathered than deal with a predominately male industry. They do their damnedest to make single women feel like 2nd class citizens.
