• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just got an email announced a download for new software "to enhance my navigating experience". I'm not touching it till I see some feedback on this forum on what it REALLY does. The last "upgrade" was a POS and screwed up all my settings features I liked with no choice to reset it back the way it was. Still don't like it and don't have time to waste to relearn

There have been no new major updates in 2024. The most recent major version is the October 2023 one.

The spring 2024 navigation system update has been delayed from June to July to August, and now (at this time) is due in September.

OMG: I have a 2021 Telluride has had multiple recalls, software updates and one problem with front collision repaired. Very frustrated as I had a Toyota Highlander for 14 years that had 1 recall. Not that this will make you feel better but here is my latest experience today with the seat recall:
This latest recall has me very annoyed. Brought car in today for recall..and when it was ready very quickly, I thought WOW but found out they only inspected the car to see what part I would need and now that they know what I need that is "vehicle specific"...they will order and I will need to go back again. At no time did Kia or the Dealer tell me this would happen, plus I have used the same dealer for all the above issues so they have my VIN and I am sure they could know what part would be needed simply by the VIN. I am furious as the closest dealer to me is two hour drive each way...so kill a day. I had a Toyota Highlander previously for14 years and had one recall in all that time. My serious feeling is if you are not retired or if the dealership is more than 30 minutes away...stay away from a Kia

Very likely a scam/phishing attempt. I got a similar email. The links point to a non-Kia site, which seems pretty sketch to me. I opened the Navigation Updater app and am not seeing any new updates in the notifications. I would delete/ignore the email.
