• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi all,

I have a 2021 Telluride SX. When I shift from reverse to drive, my rear camera stays engaged for almost a full minute. Anyone else have this issue?

The rear camera should never be on when in drive on an SX. It should switch to the front camera, which would say on until you exceed 10 mph.

Sounds like something is broken somewhere if the camera doesn’t switch and go away quickly.

You could try resetting (rebooting) the system with the pinhole by the volume knob.

Go setup
Display
Then extended rear view monitor
And un check the box
That’s only a setting for cars with just a rear view camera. The SX has the 360º camera system, so the rear view camera will never be on in drive since it’ll switch over to the front camera.

My rear camera always stays on when I'm in drive. For at least 30s to a minute or more

Read my original response again. If you have an SX, this is not normal operation.
