• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have mentioned previously I think the Kia headlight sensor for turning on the headlights when in auto mode is too sensitive. I also found out the alarm is more sensitive than other vehicles I have owned. I had the rear door windows cracked about an inch on a hot day to keep the interior a little cooler and the alarm kept going off when the wind picked up. I have to say the alarm is fine when the windows are closed, so this isn't really a problem normally, but I thought it was unusual the alarm went off so often with the windows slightly open.

Unsure about the Kia. In previous vehicles it was possible to lock the doors/set alarm whilst turning off the interior sensor (useful for just what you're doing) at the same time.

Those that might know "how to" (?) please chime in...

Any wind that causes any movement in the cabin will set off the alarm. There is a setting to disable that feature.

I think the headlights stay on to long in auto mode..
