25k miles. Driver seat deteriorating…

Anyone else have this going on? Is this covered under warranty or would they consider this wear?

Never had this happen in any of my cars.

217 wife 130. I had to crop it because I was getting a picture size error.

It’s a good question. Maybe friction? The passenger seat doesn’t. Think it’s from sliding in and out of the seat. Is my best guess.

The seats might have been wiped down with a Clorox wipe (non bleach) or baby wipe maybe less than 5X total. But they all have been. I have a seat with a car seat that has been heavily wiped down many times and it feels and looks new.
