I have been trying the Nav Updater program that I have successfully used in the past but keep getting the message "Navigation Update downloads are temporarily unavailable" This has been going on for over a month. Can't seem to find any official information on what the problem is. Does anyone have any info on this?

Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. A couple weeks ago I called the update service. They could not (or would not) give me any details regarding why updates were not available. They did state they expected they would become available in the October 2025 time frame.

Believe it when I see it I guess! I still have the error on my screen coming up on a year now that Kia cant fix until the new update comes which I still do not believe will install with it on there. We shall see I suppose.

I just did a search about this issue and found this thread. I don't know if the updates have been available at all between when this was first posted and now (23 Nov 25) but I did just try to update and got the same message that updates are "temporarily unavailable." This is unacceptable.

I did call them and they were only able to tell me that they’re expecting it to be available sometime this year, but that’s as much as they could tell me

Something really mysterious/ suspicious seems to be going on with this. Maybe we'll know more and maybe we won't. I'm surprised that the Kia dealers don't know anything about it. At least they're saying they don't

Agreed. This seems fishy. I have had an error on the screen for a year now that they claim cannot be fixed until this update comes out.
