• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My 2020 EX makes a disturbing jerking/clunking/missing kind of feeling and sound in the drivetrain. It almost feels like gears are missing. This only occurs when accelerating in a sharp turn from a standing start. I.e. when turning 90 degrees from a stop sign. This occurred persistently a few years ago and then stopped happening. It has started again quite frequently.

The dealer’s service department says that they cannot recreate it and there is nothing wrong. That leaves me frustrated and without recourse.

Does anybody have any ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks for any advice!

Go to another dealership or call Kia directly and fill a claim. I am lucky enough to have a great service department at the dealership I use. Once you fill a claim try to get it escalated.
