We want to purchase a Telluride and want to get the SX with Prestige Package but without AWD as we live in the Arizona desert and would have little need for AWD. Does anyone have information on if the other options contained in the Prestige Package will be offered without being required to include AWD? Thank you for your response in advance.

Not at this time. Maybe a 2021 model year update?
Thank you for your reply. You are definitely correct! Additionally, you cannot get a Hyundai Palisade Limited in the USA with electric fold in and tilt mirrors. Pretty much sucks. Hopefully next model year will change one or both limitations.

I was all ready to get the SX with prestige and AWD. My wife convinced me that it just wasn't worth $7K over the EX. I don't miss 20" rims, the slightly better leather, heated and cooled second row and Homelink. I doubt you'll ever be able to get a front drive, so maybe consider a EX. Instead we spent $10K on Specialized E mountain bikes, a way better investment, lol.
I was just building one on my phone and noticed at option of Prestige packack - FWD. looks like they are changing a bunch of stuff but it was still sketchy.

It looks like you can add it with FWD now; however, it's a $4000 upcharge, and when you look at the build summary, it adds AWD. So, not yet, unfortunately.
We ordered an SX Prestige, and it should be here next week. But, if I had it to do over again, I'd probably just get the SX FWD (I am in Texas) and save the $4k. The regular leather is very nice - and a suede headliner isn't a must have. For me neither are the rain sensing wipers nor 2nd row ventilation. I drove an EX, and probably should have bought that back in March.
The only issue I have with non SX trims is the headlights - you'd probably want to upgrade them on an EX, but there's a thread about that on the forum.
The EX is the real value play in the lineup - if you don't want Captains Chairs. If the Prestige seems just too much next week, then maybe I'll just order an SX non prestige.
The Palisade limited FWD is very nice - but I think it needs some discounts to be competitive with the SX non prestige. The digital gauge cluster is really cool... but you can't get those power folding mirrors! I also like the sport pedals on the SX, and Palisade Limited doesn't have those.
It's tough, but you really can't make a wrong decision. Well, maybe a Platinum Explorer, or a fully loaded Audi Q7 Prestige... for another $15-25k
