I had the overlays on for about a month but then switched to the vintage k full replacements (also purchased through this forum). My thoughts:Any PROs and CONs??????
Yes correct..it doesn't completely sits on existing kia logo and trust me i also have same OCD nature but i will settle myself on it bcoz i am worried i might break something while replacing the whole logo..I had the overlays on for about a month but then switched to the vintage k full replacements (also purchased through this forum). My thoughts:
Pros: super simple installation, they look good and the adhesive seems strong
Cons: the overlay doesn’t sit exactly flush on existing emblem (pics). It’s probably not enough to bother most people but the small gap drove my OCD nuts so I had to swap them out

I don’t blame you. That’s the primary draw of the overlays for a lot of people. I did Knick my paint a bit when replacing the rear badge but a little touch up paint and you can’t even tell. Overall, it was much easier than I anticipated it being.Yes correct..it doesn't completely sits on existing kia logo and trust me i also have same OCD nature but i will settle myself on it bcoz i am worried i might break something while replacing the whole logo..
Why cover up or remove the KIA badges? Do they fall off or something?Hi Austin, i did last week and installed within 5 mins. Looks great. significantly changed the looks of the car.
PRO: Quick installation, Nice design
CONS: Living in Florida and rainy season started so will see how it holds.
Will update in couple of weeks.
No, it’s primarily for aesthetics. A lot of people find the Kia badge to be outdated and boring. The K badges are based off the South Korean Kia badge. Why cover up or remove the KIA badges? Do they fall off or something?
Overlays are always placed over/on top of the original badges. They're thin...Are you taking off the original badge or just placing the aftermarket logo directly on top of the original badge?
