10 months sounds excessive. I ordered mine April 16th and my eta is Sept 16th, so exactly half of what you were told and I am definitely on the longer side of waiting.

Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The S trim in Gravity gray with gray interior. I definitely wanted captains chairs and I also added the cross bars.

I ordered an Everlasting Silver SXP with AWD on July 31st and they said 6-12 weeks. I would have taken an EX as they came in off the trucks, but the wife wanted a fully loaded one. What's awful is that I turn in my leased Infiniti Q50s tomorrow. I'll take all the prayers that I can get to have a miracle happen for me to take delivery much, much quicker. Lol. I will die if it takes 10 months.

Ordered our S in Gravity Grey with gray interior 9 weeks ago. Apparently it's one of the rarer color combos for the S.

Ordered an SXP on March 9, put down a deposit.
Got my money back this week since I was told that there was no build date yet and once I got a build date, it would be "about 60 days".
Not quite 10 months but close enough for me to move on. I am bummed but the wife loves the new ride we got instead.

I did place a deposit and the dealer said my negotiated deal was good as long as I kept the mileage on my trade between 1500-2000 miles per month. Don't know if he is still going to feel that way after it takes this long. Frustrating to see others taking delivery or on other lots far away when the one they are going to eventually make for me is sold, and loaded.
