• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The dash console door (e.g. phone charger/usb door) on our SX is very touchy. Its an odd press and hold mechanism that allows it to open or close and it normally takes a few tries (on Sunday I was at it like 12x to get it to open) and it seems like its getting worse. Anyone else experience this? Thanks

Yes, not the best design. I just keep it open all the time.

Any obstructions will also prevent full depression of the door to activate the push-push latch mechanism. I just keep it open all the time.
