I wish you luck at holding the schedule. I ordered 4/19 and have not heard a thing yet about a VIN. The only positive I have heard is that my order was accepted and that the dealership had been billed for the vehicle. Based on their lack of concrete information I will be showing up at the dealership Thursday to try to get answers or my $1000 deposit back. SXP Moss/NAPA/Towing/side boards.

So my dealer called me today (Thomas Kia in Highland, IN) that our car was delivered this morning. We ordered around 4/18/2019 an SX-P, Gravity Grey, Gray Nappa, tow package, interior light kit, so from order to delivery we are at 139 days. Will post pics later when car is in hand, probably next week.

I ordered mine in June from Ed Voyles Kia in Marietta. They keep saying that we are on the VIP list and when they ask they will submit it and let us know. We dealt with 3 different sales people that all quit. Now the manager is our contact but by the looks of it, I say we need to reach out to another Kia dealer. Not sure if we can cancel and go with another one or not. My question is, all these guaranteed sales but production for the SX was put on hold. I don't get it.

I did. They are over an hour from our house but the whole experience was much more straight forward than the other dealers that I visited. I'm not sure what the forum rules are regarding names, so I'll just say Napleton's affiliation with a major wholesaler sealed the deal.

They are about 40 minutes from me as well but worth going out there. It was very easy to order it and they didn't push any dealer add ons or anything. I didn't know about their affiliation though, is it Costco? And what about that sealed the deal for you?
It took 140 days but I got my car yesterday!

Yes, Costco took $500.00 off MSRP in addition to the $1500.00 KIA financing rebate, we will also receive any new KIA rebates available at the time of purchase. We were also told that their delivery times would not be as long because they were a "preferred Costco dealer" and were writing so many Telluride orders. We'll see about that one....
Ordered on 4/30/19 . 7/20/19 told they were told late August delivery. 8/23/19 told they still show late August and gave me the VIN. August has come and went. Only frustration is I have to call them every time. Never get an update unless I call them. Also, others seem to get a specific date where my dealer says "late August". So not sure if they don't know at this point or what.
I ordered a snow white pearl EX AWD with gray interior and tow package 5/31 and still no car. The manager was meeting with the regional sales manager to figure out what the hold up was because I'm her oldest unfilled order. All they can figure out is because they aren't making many with the gray interior :-(. It's something I don't want to give up on. I have an 07 Odyssey with just over 200K miles and I'm hoping and praying I don't ahve to put any money into it before my car finally arrives. She said she has one same as my order expected mid October that's black on black and she found another dealer getting my same car in around that time that is willing to trade with her. So looking like mid October. The finance deals expired yesterday, so I'm impatiently waiting for the new ones to be posted and hoping for some good incentives (although I think it's unlikely). Never thought an EX would take 20 weeks! Anyone have luck trading in early and getting a loaner? Thanks for any help! I've been stalking this forum for quite some time now ;-).

The same shit goes to my situation as well. Unless I text or call, my dealer never updates me the status of my order. It is just goddamn annoying. But I don't give a **** about bugging them since I am spending A LOT OF MONEY.

Wow!!!! I have not seen that many Telluride in a single lot. Right now the current inventory of Telluride in the South Florida area is about 50 within 100 miles. We need more dealer with this kind of inventory.

Hi Everyone!! We are waiting on ours as well. SX w/o prestige in Dark Moss with Butter Scotch interior. Only extra was mud flaps. Only place we've seen this combo was on instagram at a Puerto Rico dealership!! We ordered it July 27th $500 deposit. We are at 6.5 weeks. Dealer called and said Kia confirmed the order on 8/27. How much longer do you think we will be waiting? When do you get a VIN#?

Interesting. I didn't go through the Costco program but the dealer did take $500 off MSRP for us and also offered us the same $1500 rebate or 0% financing for 72 months. Costco or not, lets hope they get us our cars as quickly as they can.

I put in order today for a Dark Moss Gray interior FWD S model with towing package. I didn't feel I needed AWD since I've been driving an FWD Toyota van for 14 years with it. Dealership is Cronin KIA in Harrison Ohio just west of Cincinnati. They are a very nice dealership! No markup on the Telly, and also no deposit required! They told me I should get it just before Thanksgiving. For what its worth, the KIA lease terms are much much better than on the Palisade! Order was placed on September 5th, 2019.

I've been by there but have never shopped Cronin before. The way things have gone lately, they seem like the best dealer around now... Wyler is charging 10K over on SX's, Superior is a bait and switch dealer..so sounds like you made a good choice. You from around that area?.. Fairfield Township here.
