Cant order espresso brown

Hi all,
Love that this forum exists. I ordered my car yesterday green moss exterior with an espesso interior in the SX trim. I did not go with the prestige package. The sales agent called me back several hours later and again this morning to say that they can no longer longer order a espesso interior. Does anyone know this to be true and if so why? Thanks!

A delership told me the same with Dark Moss SX with Grey interior . So we went with another dealership and they were able to place the order for us . But its been 6 weeks and the order was never accepted by kia and still waiting.

I don't know, but there appears to have been some changes to interiors, as the new website no longer shows a brown steering wheel or dash with the espresso interior - just dark brown leather. Maybe they are in a transition - or maybe they are only sending espresso to Canada - I'm not sure, but I would definitely check with another dealer to confirm.

I ordered the Moss with espresso in Canada on August 22 and was called a couple of weeks later and asked if I would accept a black interior instead. I said yes but have not heard anything since. Was given the same BS about Nappa shortages. I was told the espresso brown would be closer to 4 month but much quicker for the black interior.

The espresso interior isn't Nappa. Only Dune Brown and Black are Nappa in certain Prestige/Limited trims. Espresso Brown is just the darkest brown of the regular leather choices. Initially, Canadian models had a matching brown steering wheel, dashboard and door panels - see other posts in this forum on espresso brown. But it appears to have changed at Kia.com

Unless things have changed the car you ordered is still being made, you can build one online. I tried to order one at one dealer and he told me that they were not available in that combination. I went home, built one on line again and sent it to another dealer who contacted me, took my deposit and placed the order for me. This was on April 20th, 2019, I was told it would arrive before the July 4th weekend, it did not. I am still waiting for it! (ps-I ordered the same car you ordered, green moss, sx, espresso interior)

Its been 5 months and you still dont have it ?? kudos to your patience !! At what stage is your car at , do you have an estimated delivery date ?

No, they are being very coy. They said they check every week but have no news as of yet. They are now marking them up $10,000.00 and frankly I think they'd be happy if I walked away. When I finally get it I will post photos of the interior.

Finally got our Ebony Black with espresso interior a few weeks ago (end of October) and I have to say our family loves it. We are glad we ordered this interior, every time we get in the car. Yes its brown, but paired with an Black exterior it looks good. In my opinion, the pictures don't do it justice, but the espresso melts away beautifully into the faux wood. Our wait was roughly 100 days. order to delivery. Paid MSRP less finance rebate. The whole process through Huffiness Kia was so easy and painless.

Did NOT know the Brown was on the dash too! First time I've seen that for sure. Interesting! Doesn't show that color on the Kia web site when you choose that color interior. Yours is really nice!

No issues with the color in most of the car - but the dash/steering wheel made it overkill.

I think they are going to black dash, black steering wheel and black "leather" at the shifter knob, that would be a sharp combo.
