HELP- Looking for SX Prestige

Hi I’m new to the forum and have been trying to locate:
SX Prestige AWD
Ext: Moss or Black
Int: Butterscotch or Dunne

Went to a dealer in Buford, Ga yesterday and just missed one they sold the previous day. They weren’t taking orders because their GM wasn’t available (at least that’s the excuse we got). I’ve never seen anything like this- willing to purchase, got money in hand and can’t locate exactly what I want. Any recommendations from the forum???

The one posted above was available now. An order takes 3-5 months. Hopefully on the shorter end. I believe that we are now seeing July orders being delivered.

Talk to them. You have to be patient. But I believe that they can deliver! It depends (somewhat) on what you oder specifically. GA dealers are a joke.

Dune is an excellent choice! If I don't say so myself .... You'll be best to order that combo and wait it out. Best price from Muncie.

Little more work on your end but check cars.com, CarGurus.com or the Kia site to see where the vehicles with your color combination are located. There may be some not to far from you. Then email the internet sales manager to see how motivated they are to sell it at a price you are willing to pay. As you have learned, there will be a crazy mark up on most SXP's out there.

Make sure you get a price in writing since there are so many sketchy salespeople out there. Good luck in your search!

Otherwise as others have mentioned your best bet would be ordering through a dealership like Kia of Muncie my guess is with a 4 month wait

Just curious, have you driven a Telluride? I drove in an LX (the dealer couldn't get an SX to stay on the lot long enough). The engine was very powerful. I loved it. But it cured my need to get one, RIGHT NOW. The one you are talking about is the one I wanted, cash in hand, wasn't even trading in my Buick Enclave. Still couldn't get one, the dealer told me that they aren't even "selling" them, they are just taking orders. I'm going to let this one cool off and wait until the next generation comes out. Too crazy. My Black Enclave with Butterscotch interior is just going to have to last me another year. I feel your pain!

Correct, you can order but it's hard to find certain trims in stock. She ultimately ordered from Kia of Muncie as they have best price on forum. 3-5 month wait. I think you're referring to next model year - 2021 - fall of 2020. Next gen won't be for a while

Go with a KIA of Muncie and place an order. Given the timeline(s) it will be December-February if you order one from them with NO MARKUP. But at least you will know what you are getting and you can get out of the hysteria. I've been to multiple dealers in GA and dealt with some in AL, SC and NC as well. My order with Muncie ony took 2 months, but I doubt this is the norm. Hopefully you will have as good of luck as I did.
