• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Head Light

What are you missing, seems straight forward to me? If it's an SX, they are a sealed unit with no bulb to replace. They have to replace the whole assembly. The others are halogens which is just a bulb replacement.

Ouch, that's gotta quite expensive!

Nope. These ads say "Headlight Replacement" but quite simply (and correctly), it's "Headlight Bulb Replacement." The SX most definitely takes an HB3 / 9005 standard halogen LIGHTBULB. Very easy to replace. However, as discussed in numerous threads, the coverage of these halogens really sucks. I replaced mine with Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID) bulbs and ballasts and they are infinitely better. Some folks have been happy with new LED bulbs. Others have used brighter halogens (Silver Star, etc.)
No reason to replace the whole headlight unit(s) unless you're in a fender bender...

No, the SX have LED headlight assemblies, no bulbs to replace. The EX, S, and LX have halogen bulbs which are replaceable..

Oops. Brain far$. Most humble apologies. I said SX but meant EX...

I saw that didn't want to say anything since I understood.
I really need to get my brain’s on-off switch checked. Doesn’t seem to be working correctly!

If it isn’t an SX, this setup is sweet and bright! EX HID Xenon headlight replacement. If it is an SX with LEDs already, then I don’t have a clue...
The SX headlights are plenty bright and don't need any help for sure.

Thanks how long you had them in? I stay in the Windy City with all the bad weather.
About 6 weeks. They’re even better than the OEM xenon’s in my Toyota and Nissan. I still dislike the cut line from the Kia projectors, but that has nothing to do with which bulb you use. I’m in WI (gonna snow again tonite).

Yeah, those are the ballasts. Used Gorilla 2-sided tape and put on a safety wire in case the tape ever let loose.
