I am not familiar with the Enclave; however, I’m 6’5” and the front seat was very comfortable. With the driver’s seat set to my preferred position, I was also very comfortable and had adequate room directly behind it. I even was able to fit in the third row! Very impressed with the leg room!Has anyone moved from a Buick Enclave to the Telluride? How do you compare the room between these two for comfort in all seats.
How about the width of the seats especially the driver seat? I'm a big guys and find it hard to find seats wide enough for me.
We had a 2014 Buick Enclave and traded to a GMC Acadia. The Acadia has a tad more space in the third row it seems but other than that I'd say all three of these are comparable in size and space.Has anyone moved from a Buick Enclave to the Telluride? @djmrg, have you test driven the Telluride yet? I'd like to know how it compares to the Enclave as far as interior noise (wind, tires) and softness of suspension (18" wheels)...We had a 2014 Buick Enclave and traded to a GMC Acadia. I test drove a 2019 Enclave Essence and a Telluride EX, both cars had 18's. They both scaled 66 dba at 70 mph on the same stretch of pavement. Both seemed equally comfortable for my 165 lbs. Sizing seams similar but Enclave is more egg shaped. Lots more features in the KIA for about $8k less money. Still wish KIA would change there name...@djmrg, have you test driven the Telluride yet? Thank you! So the Telluride IS quiet... Buick has all this marketing about "Quiet Tuning" - and the Telluride is just as quiet. That's great to hear... Yes, the Telluride is the better deal here for sure...I test drove a 2019 Enclave Essence and a Telluride EX, both cars had 18's. They both scaled 66 dba at 70 mph on the same stretch of pavement. Cabin noise is a big stickler for me, the Highlander is approx. the same noise level as both the Buick & Kia. Its within 1 dba. Only thing I have found lower is the BMW & Audi but at a substantially higher dollar cost.Thank you! So the Telluride IS quiet... Yes, the X5 is impressively quiet - but the price tag is just WAY up there once you start adding today's needed features...Cabin noise is a big stickler for me, the Highlander is approx. the same noise level as both the Buick & Kia. Kinda surprised to hear that...I would say the fit and finish of the enclave is a bit more polished
How does the ride compare between the two? Does the Enclave have a softer ride?We just bought a Telluride EX and also have a 2015 Enclave. The road noise is pretty similar, I'm pretty sure the EX and SX have an acoustic windshield. The engine shifting is much smoother with the Telluride and the acceleration is better as well. We have 3 kids and the interior size is pretty similar. The Enclave back storage area is 1 inch deeper with the 3rd row up. Our Enclave has captains charis and the Telluride bench but the kids haven't bitched about pushing the button to get back there so that's good. We are happy with both vehicles but if they are sitting there we will always pick the shiny new one.
They are pretty close but the Enclave is one of the softer rides I have ever felt in a SUV. It just kind of floats. The Telluride really absorbs the road as well though. We haven't taken it for a long trip yet to really test it out on the highway. How does the ride compare between the two? Does the Enclave have a softer ride?
