• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 1) Do the narrow OEM tires bother anyone else? These vehicles would look so much better with wider tires! Does anyone know how wide you can go on the OEM 20” rims without rubbing, etc.?

2) Why not a chrome option in the 20” rims for those that have never bought into the black rim fad (for all exterior colors)? I mean, they have chrome trim, so why not offer an option to tie it all in? Black rims have just always looked like dirty rims IMHO.

Actually, add lack of dual exhaust to the list as well.

Yes, these have been discussed ad nauseum since March. As to (1), some people have put on wider tires. It would look better, but honestly not a big deal to me. Search the forum. And (2) the Chrome option is easy - just buy aftermarket or find someone to trade with on forum - someone will gladly want the SX black wheels if you prefer a silver option. Chrome wheels are on Palisade limited. (3) Dual exhaust would be cool of course - we nearly universally agreed on that.

Did a quick search and couldn’t find the max tire size that could be put on the OEM 20” rims. Was wondering if a 255 or 265 would work on the OEM 20” rims?

From another forum... 20x9 +32, wrapped on 255/50/20. The stock 20 offset is 38 I think, but 255 should work.

At top right, searched "tire width". Found these threads - possibly others.

Yeah, saw those with people replacing the rims. I was referring to max tire width that OEM 20” rims would handle. I believe they are only 7.5” wide.

Here's some other pertinent info. I think you'll need different rims.
