• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello my fellow telluriders, does anyone tried this unit, using carplay wirelessly? Upon researching via net and their site , had positive reviews , but still on doubt maybe some of them are scam😅 , other user used this unit, works perfectly in their cars. Hesitant to get one until makes the unit has more reviews and tested. Any idea? Thanks😊

See this discussion on the stinger forum. One user tried it out - said it worked, but there was a significant audio delay. Ultimately decided that was too problematic.

Personally, I'd be skeptical to connect my phone to this device, but apparently it works for the most part.

Ah okay , just like to know if in the Telurride works as well, maybe others want to try it 😅, let us know for any feedback, but Thanks will check on this in stinger forum

I have it, and can confirm it works for the most part. It sometimes has connection issues to where is doesn't automatically connect. The audio delay problem is real, don't bother watching a video while parked, the delay is atrocious. Ultimately, at $160 it's not worth it.

Oh okay thanks for the input.. I will just stick with the cable instead 😊😅 for better carplay experience.

I was encouraged by the others that have purchased this unit and the multiple firmware updates that have corrected issues. I went ahead and purchased this for my telly sxp. Although a little confusing to install, I have had zero problems with the CarPlay2Air. I just start my telly and put it immediately in reverse and by the time I put it drive and start moving forward it has connected. I was looking for something like this to connect to CarPlay, because I have an iPhone XS Max and wanted to use the charging pad while connected to CarPlay. I cannot comment on the audio delay as I haven't tested that yet, but overall extremely happy with this purchase. I have been using CarPlay religiously since acquiring the unit. For me...met my need and worth the money.

Sounds good give us an update for a month or two if you have experience any issues, coz other users bought that unit on their cars cause some issues later on like sounds distortion in the speaker and humming sound when running, I hope it was fix for the updated firmware they have, plans to get one soon, once the unit is fully tested🙂

My CarPlay2Air adapter showed up yesterday, so I’ve gotten to try it out a few times so far. Overall, I’m very impressed and enjoy having the convenience of CarPlay without having to plug in.

Really the only nit I can pick right now is when you change the track, the screen changes right away, but the audio trails by a second or so. So if you like to flip around through music or podcasts frequently, it might be a small annoyance. For me right now, however, it’s a small price to pay given the significant increase in convenience.

Also, the laughable Chinese to English translations provided some entertainment as well.
