  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Was going to buy a 2019 RX450h but then I saw this Telluride and I am blown away. Definitely want to get one but I'm wonder how much I'd save if I just pick up a CPO after the 1st owner eats some of the depreciation. Even if its 10k, I'd be willing to be patient enough to wait. My 05 MDX works and is paid off but I'm just itching to be in something new since the MDX was my first car I bought about 4 years ago. Think its worth it to just be patient save a lot of money?

There are a lot of variables in play. Most often it works in your favor to wait a year to buy a CPO. WIth a Kia Telluride, maybe not. The Kia warranty is best to the original buyer, so you will pay extra for the CPO to get what you coul’ve gotten as part of your purchase price as the first owner.

Additionally, the price point of the Telluride is excellent compared to the competition, which may create much less depreciation than other brands in year one.

My Telluride MSRP will be about $47,740. I intend to do the 24 month lease, which I will buy-out within the first 60 days. That will garner me about $4,700 in rebates. Kia will make my first payment up to $750 for the Founder’s Club, so I will bump that to $5,450 in rebates. Essentially I plan to purchase at close to pretty darn close to $10,000 off MSRP.

I say all that to support I think buying a year old CPO won’t get you another $10,000 off from that.

How are you getting 4700 in rebates? Isn’t a 24 month lease like 3300?

Plus loyalty and military

I think the loyalty/conquest is only on loans, not leases. If you build and price on the Kia website, then click the price up in the top right of the screen, it will have a spot that says calculate payments. For a lease it only offers the Military discount plus the lease term discounts. 24 months is 3100, 36 months is 1800, 39 months is no discount and requires a security deposit of $650 which the other terms don't require, and 48 months is 900 discount.

Incentives vary by zip code.

Your zip code is better than mine then, dangit. I had no idea that was a thing but just tried changing to some of the other areas where there are dealers I'd be willing to drive to and the incentives stay the same for me. We plan to lease and aren't military, though everyone else in my family is, so we only have the lease term incentive to work with. Does the inclusion of loyalty or conquest offer apply to leases in your zip code?

I'll check with my director of finance. However, they go by the zip code of where you'll be registering your car, so it won't much matter. When wet lived in Kansas, the incentives were almost always better in Oklahoma, but it did no good bc we didn't live in Oklahoma...

The Loyalty and Conquest are an either or offering. Can't combine both. This is what my dealer told me last week even though I could qualify for both.

This is correct

How did you do on your Purchase BigPaPa? I just started searching and they want 10K over MSRP for SX trim.
