However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

Can you filter through the spreadsheet that is floating around on here with all the VINs and options? If so, your answer is in there.
Yep I was able to get to a PC and find the google version that helped a lot thank you. Interesting note is that an SXP that had just came into the dealership on the day I ordered in November isn’t on the list.

Which did you see? A white one? They have had 78 Tellurides (8 SXP) allocated. Out of 10 months, that's less than 1 SXP per month... so you could be waiting a while.

They are telling you BS about being the biggest Kia dealer in Kansas. They are a less than middle-of-the pack store...

By far, the store with the faster turnover is Shawnee Mission Kia - they have had 180 Tellurides allocated (17 Prestige).

Lawrence Kia has had 86 allocated (16 Prestige). Lawrence is a good dealership... I thought about working with them back in April and I am in Texas.

You should never leave a non-refundable deposit, but if you did, then demand the request ID as others have said, sit back and enjoy the long wait.

Thank you... The guy was pretty arrogant. I was unfortunately seeing what you said on the spreadsheet. Not a lot delivered. I called the Lawrence dealership back in November, they wanted me to actually sign a contract and get the financing at that time not just put a 1000 down. I didn't feel comfortable with that. I literally called every Kia dealership in the 4 surrounding states as I didn't realize I would have to order. Once I did understand that I went to my hometown dealership. Which is when he said they were the largest volume dealer for KIA in the state. Figures he was feeding BS. I guess I should understand the process better before making decision.

It's a frustrating process made even worse by less-than-forthright dealers. Interestingly, there are about 780 Kia dealers, and less than 10 have come to this forum with information or inventory (currently only 5 actively solicit orders and sales from the forum).

So, it's tough. I would ask for the request ID (it should have the date embedded in it) and make sure you have a printout of the negotiated price you have agreed to pay. Your salesperson might not be there when the car arrives in 6 months... so you want to be sure the manager has approved something.

Looking for help, for you that can look at this spreadsheet can you see if the dealer in Casper, Wyoming put in an order? I can’t see the spreadsheet, I ordered a Cooper Black with black, SX-P awd, tow the first part of December. All I was told is the the order was excepted. Can this be confirmed somehow? Thanks for any help with this small small dealer in Wyoming. :)

Ask the dealer for the request ID from KDealer. It most certainly hasn't been allocated to that dealer yet, so the request ID is all there is. We have no way to see orders. The VIN appears on the spreadsheet once it is built - but that is after the dealer should see it allocated and should have an ETA. The sales / fleet manager should have access to all that information.

Thanks for info, will ask for the request ID. Thank you

Happy for you , but kind of bummed that I been waiting since 8/22 for Black Copper/Dune and have an ETA of 2/22🙁.

I'd be a little bummed having ordered in Aug, but fortunately for you there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Hello Jason, If I were to send you the order number my salesman gave me could you tell me what it means?
Thanks.

Post it here, may be a Kia system # or an internal to that dealership #. If a Kia system #, it should read something like IL072 or whatever your dealer # is, then the date, then J0XX for the number of the order that date at that dealer. So for example: IL07220191120J001 or something similar to that.

Just heard today mine should be here is 3 to 4 weeks. I asked for request Id but salesman didn’t know what that was. I asked him to check with his manager. We will see, but at least a phone call means I’m a little closer.

It just says you ordered on 12/27/2019 from Fort Bend Kia and yours is the 4th order they put in on that day.

Exactly what you said you did. Can't track it by that number. Dealer will reach out in a few months.

Great, sounds like they are doing everything just as they said they would.

They are a reputable dealer. User @TxAggie ordered from them and took delivery recently, and I almost did... but was able to get my order fulfilled through Archer (it was a long time ago before markups).

Ordered from TX071 Dark Moss/Dune Tow package, Floor mats on 11/9/19. Talked to salesman he is telling me may be here the first of February could this be correct?

Hi Mark.... we ordered our SX-P as well around the same time: 11/11/19. Just spoke to the ordering manager and said an ETA of February 22 but no VIN number. Have you gotten any additional information about your order???

I think he was asking from the time a VIN is assigned to when it is delivered.
Depending on location it could be a couple of weeks or a month. Really comes down to transport company/logistics/weather.
