• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I wonder if any of you can answer this question. Is it possible to use a USB splitter and access USB media and apple car play at the same time without having to unplug and plug in the alternate? I have a USB stick with about 6,000 songs on it. I thought I had read something about there being an onboard hard drive. My old jeep used to rip CDs onto one which was awesome.

No, it will not work, neither will a hub.. It's just one source at a time.

Nope … I already tried and documented in another thread quite some time ago. Complete miss on Kia's part to allow two data USB ports.

Thanks Tim. I searched to see if this question was previously asked but didn't find anything. Perhaps there could be a future software update to allow wireless apple car play and/or dual usb. I've seen that some audi, bmw and mini vehicles offer it.

Does the usb work for media from a USB flash drive? I never tried it

Yes it plays my music off of a usb stick, loads fairly quickly too. Just, unfortunately, no built-in hard drive. At least not that I have found. :-(

yea, our 2016 Sorento SX-L with the infinit system in it had the internal hard drive. I was really shocked that the Telluride nor Stinger has them. That's the only thing I miss from my Sorento.

Bummer that there isn't a hard drive. My 2013 Durango even has a hd to store music on.
