  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Went to Doral Kia because they have this moss green SX I like. Here is the email I received when I asked for a price.
" if you get this car in lease 36 month 10k millas per year and $5500. down, incluid your first payment, tag, registration and title application the monthly payments are $633 per month. If you wants to purchase the vehicle with $5500 down you will be finance $47500 out the door let us know how we can help you ."

Yes, I know- very nicely composed email. :)

Here's the link the the vehicle:
Another local dealer, Phil Smith Kia has a similar one in stock.

Ideally, I would like a Moss Green SX-P at MSRP or better. I live in Miami- in a week I need to drive to Maryland to help my ailing mom. Thoughts on what I can do? Thanks in advance.

Of course you could search the Maryland area too, since you will be there. Either way, you can fly and rent cars for dirt cheap in this pandemic. Unfortunately, Hertz is on the verge of bankruptcy since no one is renting cars anymore.

Did you actually go down there in person? If not go with your $5500 cash and say I'd like to buy this telluride now for msrp minus any incentives and see what they say. If it doesn't get done today, tell them to call you in a couple weeks when its still there.

Well, you've been hunting for a few months now. But, use the TellyStats site and/or the VIN lookup site to find some dealerships where your desired vehicle has been allocated and produced and start calling. Maybe someone will back out of a sold order and you'll get lucky. But, Telluride demand is still high, and the production cut will exacerbate some inventory issues - especially with the SX-P trim. All you can do is spend a ton of time calling multiple dealerships and speaking directly with sales manager or fleet manager. There have been opportunities listed in the Dealer inventory section - there was a Moss Dune SXP in Dallas (Demo vehicle) that was sold a few weeks ago. Keep watching there. People will back out of sold orders... but they have to be delivered. A delay there too.

Yes I was there in person. What are the current incentives?

Thanks! There are lots of Tellurides on the lots here in Miami. Trailer hitches and SX-Ps are a little rarer. A couple months ago they had nothing.

$1000 when you finance with a slightly higher rate. If they didnt budge today try them again in the future but keep using the tools here to find one you can get at msrp. In this case time really is money if you can track one down
