2021 Official Training Material

Negative but that makes sense... and is what I’ve been thinking and saying imo. We have virtual training this week and next on the 2021 Telluride... so all is lining up.. I picked the first day for training which is Thursday mid day.. obviously I will share what I learn.

Agree.....the only other possible thing is for KIA to ditch the UVO monthly fee for current 2020 owners! I could live with that.

Went over concerns.. no plans were mentioned of converting key fiobs to remote start on 2020...
No pricing from trainers on 2021... So still waiting for Kia to send to dealers was hoping to get some insight..

Did figure out that first place that will release pictures of the Black Edition will be kiamedia.com.

Different department as well... but all things point or looks like this month they will.

We see our allocations on the 10th or 11th(For all models not just Telluride) with Orders needing to be put in by the 15th.. So imagine we will know on 10th or 11th that we are good for this month

If you have a 2020 order and the dealership states it will now be a 2021. Do they have to reenter into KFOS by the 15th? And what can the dealership provide to verify that it will be 2021 and the ETA?

I’m curious as to this too, my dealer claimed last week it would be changed to a 2021 as well, but they still had an ETA for me of early July. After talking with another sales rep at my dealer (my original sales rep took a job somewhere else, so the new one was following up with me), he told me he would have more information for me on Friday (tomorrow). Not sure why tomorrow is “the big day” for new info on my order, unless they’re just blowing smoke up my rear end.

It is probably best guesstimate at this point... internally we don't see ETA's yet on 2021.. doesn't mean they are incorrect as I would probably guess around same time at this point for people crossing over

It’s possible.. keep in mind there a 3rd party companies like CarToys that can update your current Key to remote start where you simply hit the lock button three times and it remote starts.

for sure. and it is not necessary to program with third-party companies: buy a block and a t-shaped wire. the bundle will already have software. The unit is connected to the laptop and is independently programmed. the t-shaped wire is connected to the can-bus (diagnostic connector) and to one end of the block. matter in 10 minutes.
you can buy a keychain and antenna and then the range will increase from 1500 fit to 3000 fit.

Definitely! I got a feeling it’ll be something along the lines of ‘we still have no info, but should know within the next few weeks or so, the coronavirus has everything all messed up’, but we shall see. Fingers crossed! Lol, even if I get a new ETA, I will take it with a grain of salt.

I give everyone who has patiently waited since the end of 2019 for their SXP serious props! I'm technically an "outsider" just waiting to get a 2021 Telly order in for a hopeful early Fall delivery. They really need to get all these back orders delivered in the next 30-45 days...otherwise I'm not sure how patient you guys will stay...

I don’t know how anyone who has waited that long has done it either. I’ma rookie compared to a lot of them, as I’ve only been waiting a month and a half myself. I completely understand the whole slow down in production due to COVID, but it doesn’t make the multiple changes on my ETA any less disheartening over the last 45 days or so. I’m totally with you, if I’d have been waiting since last NOV or even longer, I’d have gotten my deposit back and looked elsewhere more than likely (Palisade probably being what I’d have purchased). But anyway, nothing I can really do other than wait or look elsewhere right now, and other than being a slight hurry due to a growing family and moving across state by end of summer, I’m not in TOO big of a hurry. I give a lot of props to those who have waited WAY longer than me, I could learn a thing or two about your patience!!
