• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Snow White Pearl vs Glacier White Pearl

Hi. We were planning on ordering a Telluride in Snow White Pearl. But I’ve seen on this forum that Snow White is being replaced by Glacier White for 2021. Anyone know what the difference is?
I ordered SXP/T in Snow White Pearl and was told it would now be Glacier White Pearl for 2021MY, But quickly noticed on the VIN LOOKUP that the 2021 is still showing them
as being Snow White Pearl with a $100.00 increase in price. Anybody know what's the deal?????

I still see it as $495 on VIN lookup. That’s the price i was quoted on 2020s for Snow White...

Look on the VIN LOOKUP site, all 2020 Snow White Pearl on the Windows Stickers show cost of $395.00, "Which is the price I was Quoted'' While all the 2021MY show the
cost of SWP as $495.00 and why is it not Glacier White Pearl?????

I knew there was a price increase for the color but I thought it was really strange about the window stickers still stating SWP.....maybe they arent changing the color after all? That would be awesome!

I see that now. It is $495. My dealer tacked on the extra $100 I guess.

and I was wondering the same thing. Why is it SWP when that was supposed to be discontinued. I guess the transition isn’t so cut and dry and there’s a lot of overlap

Here’s a video of a Kia Seltos with GWP. Presume the Telluride will be similar. No idea what the difference to SWP is.

Thank you for this-I has dying to know what it would look like

The Seltos video is glaciER white pearl from India. The post below shows glaciAL white pearl from the K5, which will be built at the same plant as the Telluride. I’m assuming the new Telluride white will be the same as the K5, but who knows. See post below.

Kia.com just updated to the 2021 and both colors are included... so what really is the difference?

Looks like GWP is only available with Nightfall Edition? I tried to select GWP without Nightfall but it showed that edition. Seems like SWP is available without Nightfall.

Its really strange that both color options are available. I'm really confused now!

Yep I think they changed it to where SWP is non nightfall and GWP is w/nightfall.

Oh interesting didnt notice that

If you pick wolf grey then switch to GWP you can see the white with nightfall. Then toggle to the SWP and you see it without. Moving the car around to different angles and swithching between the two is an interesting way to compare Nightfall vs non Nightfall. DIdn't think I would like it on the white but seeing the comparison is making me change my mind.

It is confusing because choosing GWP on the main screen changes the pictured vehicle to NE. However if you go to "build" you can choose the GWP without selecting the NE, so it doesn't seem like it would be limited to NE. Earlier info said SWP would be used for cars manufactured through the end of July 2020. GWP would be used starting August, 2020. Maybe that is why they show both colors, because the change hasn't taken place.

My dealer just told me that the GWP has a sort of silvery flake to it vs. the SWP being plain white.
