It is new.

There are two ways to avoid it if you don’t want to listen to it: first is not to tap on its home screen icon.

Secondarily, if you don’t want to cycle past it when you hit the steering wheel’s “mode” button, you can uncheck this (and any other audio source) if you want.

Thanks. I did accidentally hit it whe going thru settings. Turned it off. Turned car off. Came back later, started car, and the nature song played immediately. Uggh. I now want to hack the usb update, delete the sound files for that, and reinstall.

I don’t think uvo can do over the air updates. Maybe in the future (doubtful though) but this for this , you will need the usb.

dont believe there is a SD or memory stick reader in the Telly. USB drive only.

I think that’s the plan with Official Kia Motors Navigation Update Website but so far it’s still “coming soon”.

Yes. But, I don't know what's going on with the global update page, they had different regions, then removed all and kept only Korea, US & Canada. I was hoping the update will be available soon as it showed in the page. Now, I am not even sure if it will be available for my region.

mapnsoft.com still offers the download options. However, it depends on the region and car model.

The US ver is back up for ordering the USB, no download option. On the fence about just giving in and accepting a download option isn't gonna happen anytime soon. Also think someone mentioned 14.5 might drop in July.

Me too, and with our combined luck it will probably be available for download some time in the next couple of hours.

If you want, I can add you on the list for my free image I created and uploaded. I am put it on my google drive and just having a couple people make sure it all worked before I give it to others.

Looking forward to the group consensus on how this update works for people. Both from an image perspective and a general enhancements/issues perspective.

For those who have ordered the usb, was the only payment option PayPal? I have no other option for payment at checkout, and I looked at pricing/payment FAQs and the site says PayPal is not required, with this specific info:
A PayPal account, or major debit/credit card (MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa)

Anybody else seeing only PayPal at checkou?

The payment is through PayPal, but it doesn't require a Paypal account. You can just enter in your debit/credit card info without logging in.

Yeah, this thing is close to 60 Gb on a USB flash drive. It will probably take a week to do an over the air UVO update.
