They look more fitting on a lifted 4x4 truck or jeep. Remind me of the Rockstar wheels

I would be leery of the images. The "official" release states that an exclusive Kia Logo will be on both the front and rear of the black edition. The pic's you provided do not show an exclusive logo. That's my first sign that someone is taking liberties to drum up hype.

But then again, it could be accurate. If so, no Black edition for me. Can't get past the grill or rims.
 
It's interesting, because it's essentially the same as the vehicle image online at MastriaKia.com that was posted here on June 5 by @Nine Mile Skid in the Black Edition thread. Same grill. I wouldn't put it past SW Kia to use an unofficial image to drum up hype, but they are one of the largest dealers in the country, so maybe they did get an image ahead of time. I think the look could grow on me... but not the biggest fan of the wheels.

@StormDB tracked down the image in a subsequent post in same thread on June 8.

Black Edition

So, I just noticed this same photo of what COULD be the Blacked out edition (and/or a 2021MY) on another dealer's website (look just below the boxes for searching for a vehicle): New Kia and Used Car Dealer Serving Bowie | Kia of Bowie I right clicked on the image to look at the frame source...

It does look like a different KIA emblem to me. The letters are just darker to match the theme of the package, which would make it unique to the package. But again, no idea if this is the actual vehicle or just a photoshop.

The more I look at these pictures (the quality of it) and compare it to the 2021 KIA Mohave Black Edition - I think these pictures are legit. If someone where going to photo shop this - it seems they would have copied more of the theme from KIA's home market Mohave. The angles and detail in the close shot of the grill look real and not photo shopped. That said - I am still not a fan of the wheels. The grill could grow on me. I'm just glad it looks different from the SXP since it will also be available on the EX. The last thing we would have wanted would be for this to be available on the EX and look just like a blacked out SXP.

That reality is starting to set in with me too - I think this could be it...Doesn't look photoshopped...and technically the emblem is a shade darker - which to Kia could mean "unique".
