• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I've only had my Telluride a few days and I'm having issues with the side mirror cameras. Sometime it's just a blue screen, sometime the picture is messed up, sometime it's good. Has anyone else this issue? Any quick fix or back to the dealer?

Have not heard of anyone having that issue........

Record it happening and send me the video and I can show my service technicians

Hi, I'm having the same issue with my Kia Telluride, I've recorded the incident, you can find it here

Did you manage to find what was the issue? and how did you solve it ?

Hi, I'm not sure that's the same issue. Mine did that on both sides, though one side more often or predominantly.

There is a connection between the door and the body that could be loose. It wasn't that so they decided it needed a new t-harness that connects the camera system. Before they replaced that though they figured out it was just loose coaxial cables. They tightened the connections and it's been fine ever since.

Finally the problem is solved.
First I took my Telluride to Kia's local dealer workshop last week, they took about an hour then said there was a fault code in the car's computer and they fixed it, but later I found out they didn't fix the camera issue, becauseit sometimes work and sometimes stop working. This week I took the car to Kia's main workshop in my area, it took them a whole day to figure the problem and fix it, they said it was a loose t-harness for the right door.

i have the same problem working sometimes and not others. door and area taken apart 2 times by 2 different kia shops and still not fixed. They said nothing loose, any other ideas? Thanks.

When the backup camera in my F150 bluescreened, they found the connections to be ok so they replaced the camera. Problem solved for me.

Thank you. That was suggested but they said camera fine cause it works sometimes. I will be calling them tomorrow!

My Kia dealer said the same thing. "camera is fine", connections are secure... ??

If a tv worked sometimes, does that mean the tv is fine? Their logic seems flawed. Intermittent issues can be frustrating. Don't settle until the issue is resolved and works 100% of the time. If they have eliminated the wiring and connections as the problem and the camera is the only thing left then.....? Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

That makes sense....it goes back in Monday and I will use your example. They're saying they have to do what Kia warranty tech says for continued trouble shooting. :(

I have a 2021 and I have the same issue as @amr The only difference is that it is my left camera showing the blue screen. So is this something I can try to fix myself? I've only had the vehicle 2 months and I'm not excited about the dealer loosening up door or dash panels :( For those that have resolved the issue, is it more likely a t-harness, a coax cable or the camera? Thanks all!

There is a TSB fix for your issue. It doesn't look like a DIY kind of fix.
