• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I can’t find what this button is for in the holder by the front drink holders. Any ideas?

Is it for the accessory lighting kit? Did you press it yet? Lol
You may not be able to see it during the day.

Is that the aftermarket one that lights up the foot well? Not the standard SX level door trim lighting?
Its a KIA accessory so technically not aftermarket but yea you can order it at time of vehicle order from the factory or dealer can install for you after purchase. I believe others here may have installed it on their own and also leds from like Amazon with minimal effort and not to mention cost savings over this OEM kit. GL

There should have been a little card with instructions informing you that that button can turn the cup holder and footwell lights on/off as well as cycle through the different color choices.

Maybe the dealer never provided to you?

That’s the secret passenger eject seat button! Don’t push it

First off - this is the first picture I have seen of the actual button - so thanks for sharing. Also - in this picture you can see in the cup holder right below the small disk on the side - that is the light for the lighting discussed above. Funny they didn't tell you about this when you purchased it - as it is an expensive option.

it is an expensive option.
Yeah... I feel like if I didn’t already know, I would want to find out all the details about a $450 line item on my window sticker.

My post here (#31) has a shot of the card that the original poster may or may not be missing:

Is it the interior led lighting?
