Just placed my deposit down on a 2021 SX nightfall with tow in gravity gray. I was able to get it $500 below MSRP and I only have to wait 3 weeks. It wasn't exactly what we were looking for but we couldn't pass on the opportunity and deal.

2021 Nightfall inbound

I would call us a casual shopper. We have been in the market but I wouldn't say we have beaten down the pavement. We have a great reliable vehicle currently so we haven't been pressured into a bad deal and we have had a couple opportunities just didn't feel right for us.
As far as how we found it, we just stayed in contact with multiple dealers and kept good relationships. We never spoke about pricing and just kept everything positive. The vehicle we are getting is close but not what we would have exactly ordered. That also helped because they knew we were on the fence and would need to do something more to get us to open the wallet. Also, the nightfall package still hasn't been released with official press photos. I leveraged that part too during negotiations because in the end we are taking a chance and purchasing something with very little knowledge of what it will look like as a whole. I have a lot of formal negotiation training but still assumed we would pay MSRP. I just kept the conversation positive and wasn't a jerk and off-putting. I found an angle that I hoped I could leverage and framed the negotiation back to us with a real concern that was relatable. Like I said, $500 isn't a lot but I consider it a win none the less.
Please post pics ASAP when you get it! That is the same color combo that I have ordered.

Absolutely. Based off of the VIN site and projected delivery date my guess is this will be one of the first nightfalls delivered. Based on manufacture dates and other people's posts it seems like most nightfalls are getting delivered in August and ours is projected to be delivered this month.

@Fireburd great choice! Does the nightfall package cost extra like the prestige package or it comes inclusive on SX AWD? I want to know if there's extra price to pay for nightfall since I do not want prestige on SX.

Mine is an SX with tow and no Prestige package. The nightfall package is an additional $1295 upgrade on the sticker. We were looking for one with the prestige package but couldn't pass up this opportunity and deal.

For SX, Nightfall is $1,295.00 extra and requires AWD.
